June is Men's Mental Health Awareness month. When we think of our overall health, our mental health greatly affects the whole body. This month's newsletter is specifically about stress and it's effects on you. Take time for yourself so you can also be able to take time for others. Have a a safe and healthy summer!

Reminder to parents of students with Chronic Medical Conditions- Medication(s) must be picked up on the last day of school unless your child will be attending summer school. Medications MUST be picked up by a parent or guardian. If medication or asthma inhalers are not picked up they will be properly disposed of according to district policy/guidelines. Medications are expensive. Please pick them up!
As a district we are committed to supporting all our scholars in a safe and collaborative manner. When looking forward to our next school year please remember that we are required to get a new Medication Administration Authorization form as well as a new action plan and/or orders from your scholarās doctor every school year.
Please make an appointment with your scholarās doctor to get the necessary documents, and refills, prior to the beginning of the next school year. We are legally unable to administer medication or provide medical treatments for your scholar without this documentation. For any questions or concerns, call the Freeman Nurse at 810-767-6260
