ClassPicsGymPicsClassPic2ClassPic3ClassPic4WholeGroupClassPic5KidsPicGymIn collaboration with Freeman Elementary and Nurse Frawley the School Wellness Program School Nurse, - 21 medical students from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and members of a nonprofit organization called Spread The Love Projects (STLP) visited the 4th through 6th grade classes who were separated by boys and girls for a 2 hour "Day of Action" In service where they hung out, bonded, had snacks, talked about medicine and hygiene/feminine hygiene, demonstrated using stethoscopes, reflex hammers, pen lights, and tuning forks and talked about careers in becoming a doctor, and all students were given their very own stethoscope to keep!

STLP is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides direct, needs-based support to children and families facing social, financial, and healthcare-related barriers, including hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, and transportation support.

STLP also made a very generous donation of body wash, deodorants, shampoo, conditioners, toothbrushes/paste, feminine hygiene products, hand sanitizers, lotions and more!
