Meet Ms. Howe
Adrienne Howe first came to Freeman Elementary through AmeriCorps' Reading Corps program in 2017. While in the Reading Corps program, she worked with K-3rd grade students to improve phonemic awareness and reading fluency. She started as a Title 1 paraprofessional in 2018 continuing to work with students K-3rd grade. Before coming to Flint Community Schools, she taught individuals with disabilities. Those skills enable her to modify lessons to meet students' learning needs. She is a self published author and has assisted others to publish their work. She fosters puppies for Paws with a Cause, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to individuals with disabilities. She graduated from the University of Michigan - Flint with a B.A. in Education with a certificate in secondary education in 2006. Go Mustangs!
